"TABATA MASH UP"

  • Pull ups (low score = 5)
  • Push ups (low score = 6)
  • Sit ups (low score = 12)
  • Squats (low score = 18)

A full TABATA of each movement with 1 minute REST between each.

This WOD is scored by the lowest number of reps for each movement.

Tabata-type WOD with Fight Gone Bad elements

WOD: Two rounds of:
  • DEADLIFT 135/95 lbs
  • ROW
  • KB Swing 16/12 kg
  • GHD Sit Ups
  • Thrusters 95/ 65 lbs
90 seconds at each station with a 30 second rest between stations.

This is harder than it looks. We didn't keep score.

Heavy Tabata

Heavy Tabata: Eight rounds of:
  • 20 seconds of Thrusters (135 lbs, 95 lbs) [I did 115]
  • 10 seconds of rest
  • 20 seconds Box Jumps
  • 10 seconds rest
  • 20 seconds of Sumo Deadlift Highpull (135 lbs, 95 lbs) [I did 115]
  • 10 seconds rest
  • 20 seconds of Sit ups
  • 10 seconds rest
* after every 2 rounds you get one minute rest; scale the weight for this workout as needed BUT this should be heavier then you are used to.

Hopper deck Thursdays: Tabata Something Else

Today's WOD as determined by the alignment of the stars: Tabata Something Else:
  • Pull ups
  • Push ups
  • Sit ups
  • Squats
Tor this workout each movement is done for a full Tabatas: 20 seconds of work, 10 seconds of rest for 8 rounds. So the entire workout is 16 minutes and your score is the total number of reps completed.

Here's how I fared:
  • Pull ups: 46
  • Push ups: 42
  • Sit ups: 90
  • Squats: 139
For a total of 317.

Today's WOD: Tabata: 20 seconds of work, 10 seconds of rest, 8 rounds each of:
  • Air squats
  • SDHP (95lbs)
  • Wall balls (20lbs)
  • Pull-ups
Did 124, 55, 77, and 40 respectively for a total of 296.

  • 10 seconds rest
  • 20 seconds box jumps

  • 20 seconds thrusters (95 lbs)
We were given a 1 minute break every two rounds. Hard!

One of the most difficult WODs in quite some time. Minned out at 20. Awful doesn't describe this one.

  • Tabata Pull-ups = 3
  • Tabata Push-ups = 5
  • Tabata Sit-ups = 12
  • Tabata Squats = 14
Total = 34
